The 2023 Chevrolet Equinox now features a more powerful engine without any sacrifice to fuel performance. Chevrolet has also swapped out the traditional brake system for the new and electronically assisted E-Boost technology, and it has added new color options and appearance packages.
2023 Chevrolet Equinox - Performance
Front-wheel drive is standard with the new Chevrolet Equinox near Concord. All-wheel drive is an option regardless of trim level. Chevrolet uses the same powertrain across the board: a six-speed automatic transmission mated to a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 175 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque. Trailering is an option, and with that upgrade, your Equinox can tow 1,500 pounds.
Chevrolet Equinox - Safety
The current-generation Equinox has received a five-star overall NHTSA safety rating. A 7-inch infotainment touch screen with a rearview camera system is standard. An 8-inch screen with a higher-resolution camera is optional with the LT and up and included with the Premier. Standard safety features include automatic headlamps, automatic high-beam assist, frontal collision warning with intervention and lane departure warning with intervention. Options include a surround-view camera, blind-spot monitoring, front and rear parking sensors and an automated parking system.
Chevrolet Equinox - Mechanical
Push-button start and keyless entry are standard with all Equinox models available at Winter Chevrolet. Remote ignition is optional with the up-level LT trim via the Confidence & Convenience option, and that package is included with all trims beyond that point. An engine block heater is optional with all trims. A household-style 120-volt outlet is optional with the LT and up and standard with the Premier.
