A notable change that Chevrolet has made for the 2023 Chevrolet Malibu is offering a single powertrain across the lineup. All models are front-wheel drive and have a continuously variable transmission, and that CVT is mated to 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that is fuel efficient while delivering 160 hp and 184 lb.-ft. of torque.
Chevrolet Malibu - Safety
An 8-inch infotainment touch screen is standard across the board along with a rearview camera system, in-vehicle Wi-Fi hotspot and wireless Apple and Android device integration. The 2LT adds a touch screen with a more advanced feature set, including integrated navigation. Standard driver assists for the new Chevrolet Malibu near Concord include automatic headlamp, automatic high-beam assist, frontal collision warning with automatic braking and lane departure warning with intervention. A Driver Confidence package is optional with all trims and adds rear parking sensors, blind-spot warning and rear cross-traffic warning.
